### Sales area
Every document is booked in one **sales organisation**, **distribution
channel** and **division**. The distribution channel can follow the sold-to's
country: under **Distribution channel by country**, each rule names countries
as ISO codes (e.g. `DE, AT, CH`) and a channel. The first rule naming the
country wins; a country no rule names takes the **channel for other
countries**, or the distribution channel above if that is empty.
