# Sales orders

### Sales orders
When an order is completed in Mercura, Mercura creates a sales order in SAP
with the lines an ERP export of the order has:
- **Header:** order type, sales area, the customer as sold-to party, the
customer's order number and order date, and the requested delivery date.
- **Lines:** one per position, with the article (the selected article, else
the article number on the customer's document), quantity and unit.
- **Order type:** `TA` by default. With **Order field for the order type**, an
order field can carry another type that you allow under **Other allowed
order types**, for example for consignment orders. Any other value stops the
export.
- **Ship-to:** the order's ship-to goes to SAP with the **partner function**
you set (`WE` by default). Leave it empty to let SAP take the customer's
default ship-to.
- **Text positions:** stop the export, or leave them out.
- **Notes:** optionally sent as one header text with the **text ID** and
**language** you set.
- **Currency:** optionally sent; otherwise SAP takes it from the customer
master.
